What is this place? The ramblings of a madman

Inside Reality is a tapestry of thoughts. Mostly, these are the thoughts of the author, Matthew Squire.

The website is currently undergoing a major overhaul and a new version will be published toward the end of 2008. In the meantime the blog is still updated with reasonable regularity.

Where does the name come from? Roses by other names

In a previous incarnation this website had no name. Several names were made up and Inside Reality chosen by a reader vote. The name has no significance or meaning at all.

About the author That fine line

Born in 1985 in Kent, England, lived in Milton Keynes for many years and now I am studying for a degree in Computer Science (2nd year) at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

I write computer programs, study the universe and its language (mathematics), think about philosophy, politics and the psyche, speak in tongues, read everything, live like a nomad, and sometimes sleep.

Inside Reality contains those products of my mind of which I feel least ashamed: essays on various topics, computer programs, art and poetry. It also contains my blog.

• Occasionally I receive an email asking for assistance for a programming assignment or something simillar. I do not have the time to answer these - please ask your teacher.
• I will probably not grant you permission to use images/articles/code found on this website for your own purposes. Unless I explicitly state otherwise, you may not use anything which you find here. In the case of code I usually specify within the code the usage restrictions.
• If you have a question not directed specifically to me then the forum may be a better place to ask.
• I do not wish to convert to your religion
• I do not wish to buy your products
